Sabería is not a standard conjugation in modern Spanish. The correct conditional form of the verb saber is sabría, formed from the irregular stem sabr- plus the conditional ending -ía. The spelling sabería is generally considered a misspelling or a typographical error, and sabría should be used in ordinary writing.

In Spanish, saber means “to know” or “to know how to.” Related forms include sé, sabes, sabe (present); sabía (imperfect); sabré, sabrás, sabrá (future); sabría, sabrías, sabrían (conditional). The imperfect subjunctive forms are supiera or supiese, not sabería. Therefore, sabería is not recognized as a correct verb form in standard grammar.

If encountered in text, sabería is usually a mistake and should be corrected to sabría. For example, “I would know the answer” should be written as “Yo sabría la respuesta.” The nonstandard form may occasionally appear in informal writing or among learners who confuse the stem change with the regular -ía ending.

Beyond grammar, sabería does not constitute a widely used term in Spanish linguistics or vocabulary.
