ruiskuvaluyksikköön
Ruiskuvaluyksikkö, often translated as injection molding unit, is a fundamental component of an injection molding machine. It is responsible for melting the plastic material and then injecting it into the mold cavity under high pressure. The primary parts of the injection molding unit are the screw and barrel assembly and the heating system. The screw rotates and conveys plastic pellets from the hopper into the barrel. As the screw rotates, frictional heat is generated, and this is supplemented by external heaters surrounding the barrel. This combination melts the plastic into a homogeneous, viscous melt. Once a sufficient amount of molten plastic has accumulated in front of the screw, the screw moves forward axially, acting like a plunger. This forward movement injects the molten plastic into the mold cavity through a nozzle. The speed and pressure of this injection are critical for achieving proper mold filling and part quality. The design and size of the injection molding unit are determined by the size and type of parts to be produced and the material being processed. Effective control over the melting and injection process is essential for consistent and high-quality plastic product manufacturing.
