roseoloviruses
Roseoloviruses are a genus of viruses in the family Herpesviridae and the subfamily Betaherpesvirinae. This genus is known for infecting humans and primates. The most well-known species within this genus is Human herpesvirus 6 (HHV-6), which itself is further divided into two subspecies, HHV-6A and HHV-6B. Human herpesvirus 7 (HHV-7) is another significant member of the Roseolovirus genus.

Roseoloviruses establish lifelong latent infections after the initial symptomatic or asymptomatic primary infection. The virus can
