Ristvaldkondlikud, also known as the Order of the Cross, were a medieval religious order that emerged in the Baltic region during the 13th century. They were established by the Teutonic Knights, a German crusader order, to spread Christianity and defend the Baltic coast from pagan tribes. The order was officially founded in 1209 and quickly gained influence and territory, eventually becoming one of the most powerful military and political forces in the region.

The ristvaldkondlikud were known for their strict adherence to the military order and their role in the colonization of the Baltic region.
