Riistvarakihi, also known as the New Zealand greenling, is a species of marine fish belonging to the family Kyphosidae. It is native to the coastal waters of New Zealand, where it inhabits rocky reefs and shallow waters up to depths of 100 meters. The riistvarakihi is a small fish, typically reaching lengths of around 15 centimeters, with a slender, elongated body and a distinctive greenish coloration. Its diet primarily consists of small crustaceans and other invertebrates.
