Reservuaarist is a Finnish term that denotes a system of reservoirs—artificial water bodies created by dams and related infrastructure—used to store and manage freshwater for human use and ecological needs. It typically refers to a coordinated network of reservoirs that operate together to meet multiple water demands.

A reservoir system usually includes several reservoirs at different elevations, dam structures, intake and outlet works, pumping stations, water conveyance and distribution facilities, treatment plants, and monitoring and control equipment.
