Repetabile is an adjective used in several Romance-language texts to denote the capacity of an action or process to be repeated under the same conditions. In Italian, the standard term is ripetibile, while repetabile may appear as a loanword or regional variant in technical writing. The concept corresponds most directly to the English term repeatable and to the broader idea of repeatability.

In practice, something is repetabile if the same procedure, applied in identical circumstances, can be performed again to produce comparable results. This notion is central in experimental science, manufacturing, and software testing. In metrology and quality control, repeatability refers to the closeness of agreement between successive measurements of the same quantity obtained with the same method, instrument, operator, and location in a short time frame. It is distinguished from reproducibility, where different operators or conditions are involved.

Examples include repeating a chemical assay to verify consistency, re-running a calibration with the same setup, or executing a software test case multiple times to ensure the outputs are stable under identical inputs. Factors that affect repetability include instrument precision, environmental stability, human factors, and procedure fidelity.

Notes: while repetabile is understood in some texts, the preferred Italian term remains ripetibile and ripetibilità for the noun form.
