rentgenology
Rentgenology is a branch of medical imaging that utilizes X-rays to visualize the internal structures of the body. It is named after Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen, the German physicist who discovered X-rays in 1895. The fundamental principle of rentgenology involves passing X-rays through a patient's body, where different tissues absorb the radiation to varying degrees. Denser materials like bone absorb more X-rays, appearing white on the resulting image, while softer tissues allow more X-rays to pass through, appearing in shades of gray or black.
The X-ray beam is directed at a specific area of the body and then strikes a detector,
