Reguleringsveien is a term used in Norwegian urban planning to describe a road or road corridor that is reserved within a reguleringsplan (zoning plan). The plan specifies the intended alignment, width, cross-section and grade of the road, and establishes the right of way even if the road is not immediately built. The reguleringsvei is intended to secure access and connectivity for future development and to ensure that the road network will function as areas are built out.

The purpose of a reguleringsvei is to guarantee orderly growth, provide sufficient traffic capacity, and connect new residential or commercial areas with existing streets. It helps maintain safe access to properties, enables emergency and public services to reach new developments, and prevents later fragmentation or incompatible changes to the road layout. The road may be constructed later by the municipality, by developers as part of a larger project, or through a combination of public and private funding, depending on local regulations and planning practices.

In practice, a reguleringsvei often exists as a preserved right of way within the plan, even if the actual roadway is not yet paved or completed. Until construction, the corridor is protected to preserve the intended alignment. Once built, the reguleringsvei becomes part of the public road network and is maintained by the municipality.
