RegionMay is a region located on the eastern coast of the continent of Lyria. It covers about 22,000 square kilometers and has a population of around 2.7 million, making it one of the more populous regions in the federation. The region's capital is Riverport, and its largest city is Eastvale.

Its geography ranges from the May River valley in the interior to rolling coastal plains and low foothills in the west. The climate is temperate with maritime influences, ensuring mild winters and warm summers, with higher precipitation along the coast.

RegionMay emerged from late 19th-century administrative reforms and was formalized as a distinct region in 1904. It has since undergone several boundary adjustments and modernized governance structures following decentralization reforms in the late 20th century.

RegionMay operates under a regional government within the federal state of Lyria. It has an elected Regional Council (18 seats) and a Regional Governor who oversees executive functions. The council sets policy on education, transport, and economic development, subject to national law.

Economy is diversified: manufacturing in Riverport area, agriculture in the river valley (apples, grapes, dairy), logistics and services in Riverport and Eastvale, plus wind and solar energy projects along the coast.

Demographically diverse, with a majority RegionMayian population and communities speaking RegionMayian and Eldorian; minority groups include speakers of nearby regional languages. Cultural life emphasizes seafood cuisine, wine, and regional festivals such as the Spring River Fest.

Notable features include the May River, the Larkwood National Park, and the maritime district of Eastvale; the region is served by an inland rail corridor and an international seaport.
