Reformoituvassa is a Finnish term used to describe something that is in the process of being reformed. It is a participial adjective formed from the verb reformoida (to reform) and the suffixes that indicate an ongoing state, yielding a literal meaning of “in reform” or “undergoing reform.” The form is used in written Finnish to attribute the status of reform to systems, institutions, legislation, or practices.

In contemporary Finnish discourse, reformoituvassa is commonly applied to describe organizational, administrative, or policy changes that have not yet been completed. It emphasizes ongoing processes rather than finished reforms. For example: “Koulutusjärjestelmä on reformoituvassa tilassa” (The education system is in a state of reform). “Sosiaali- ja terveydenhuoltojärjestelmä on reformoituvassa vaiheessa” (The social and health care system is in a reforming phase).
