receptormködés
Receptorműködés refers to the process by which cells detect and respond to specific signals. These signals, called ligands, can be various molecules like hormones, neurotransmitters, or even light or odorants. Cells possess specialized proteins called receptors, typically located on their surface or within the cytoplasm or nucleus. Each receptor is designed to bind to a particular type of ligand, much like a lock and key mechanism.
When a ligand binds to its corresponding receptor, it triggers a conformational change in the receptor protein.
