rahoitusliikenteen
Rahoitusliikenne, known in English as financial leasing, is a type of financing arrangement where a leasing company purchases an asset and then leases it to a customer for a specified period. The customer, or lessee, makes regular payments to the leasing company, or lessor, for the use of the asset. At the end of the lease term, the lessee typically has options such as purchasing the asset for a predetermined residual value, returning the asset, or renewing the lease. This form of financing is commonly used for large capital assets like vehicles, machinery, and equipment across various industries. It allows businesses to acquire the use of assets without the significant upfront capital expenditure that outright purchase would require. The lease payments are often structured to cover the cost of the asset plus a return for the leasing company. Rahoitusliikenne can offer tax advantages as lease payments are generally considered operating expenses and are tax-deductible. The ownership of the asset remains with the leasing company until any agreed-upon purchase option is exercised by the lessee.
