Projektueshmërisë was a short-lived initiative in Albania aimed at fostering Europeanization and promoting market-oriented reforms in the country's economy. The term is Albanian for "project ownership," and it reflects the primary goal of the initiative: to encourage Albanian stakeholders to assume ownership of economic projects and policies, ultimately leading to sustainable development.

Launched in the early 2000s, projektueshmërisë built upon the principles of good governance and public-private partnerships. The initiative focused on supporting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), improving the business environment, and enhancing the country's attractiveness for foreign investment.

Key activities undertaken as part of projektueshmërisëincluded the establishment of a knowledge management platform for economic development professionals, capacity-building programs for SMEs, and the promotion of open regionalism through increased trade and economic cooperation with neighboring countries.

Projekuteshmërisë received funding from various international donors, including the European Union, the World Bank, and the International Finance Corporation. When the initiative was first launched, it was met with optimism and enthusiasm by Albanian policymakers and business leaders.

Despite its ambitious goals, projektueshmërisë ultimately failed to reach its full potential. Critics argued that the initiative lacked a clear and comprehensive action plan, which, combined with limited institutional capacity in Albania, hindered its effectiveness. As a result, projektueshmërisë effectively ended without achieving significant, lasting changes in Albania's economic landscape.
