Prihlásenie, a Slovak term, generally refers to the act of logging in or signing up for a service. This can encompass various digital contexts, such as accessing a website, an application, or an online account. The process typically involves providing credentials, most commonly a username or email address and a password, to authenticate one's identity.

In many systems, prihlásenie is a security measure designed to protect user data and ensure that only authorized individuals can access their personal information or perform specific actions. The complexity of the prihlásenie process can vary. Simpler forms might only require a username and password. More secure systems might implement two-factor authentication (2FA), which involves an additional step, like entering a code sent to a mobile device or using a biometric scan, to verify identity.

The opposite of prihlásenie is odhlásenie, which means logging out.
