Operating-system facilities such as memory mapping, prefetch instructions, or advisory calls (for example, madvise or posix_fadvise) can guide the system to prepare data in advance. Benefits and limitations

When predictions about future data or code use are accurate, preloadu reduces wait times and improves perceived performance. However, it can increase memory usage and CPU load, risk cache pollution, and add complexity. Benefits are workload-dependent and may vary across devices and platforms.
