Predikatit is a term found in certain linguistic descriptions to denote the predicate portion of a sentence or clause. The predicate, in general, conveys what is said about the subject, such as an action, a state, or a property. In languages that use explicit grammatical labeling or case-based descriptions, predikatit refers to the part of the clause that carries the verb and any dependents that complete its meaning.

Predikatit can be composed in several ways. Verbal predicates express actions or events with a verb and may include auxiliary verbs, negation, tense, aspect, mood, and person marking. Nominal predicates use a copula (such as to be) plus a predicative noun, adjective, or pronoun to assign a property or identity to the subject.
