Practique is not a standard entry in major dictionaries of French, English, or other widely used languages. In most contexts, it appears to be a misspelling of the French word pratique, or it may be used as a coined name or brand. There is no widely recognized concept specifically named “Pratique” with that exact spelling in established linguistic or academic references.

In French, the correct form is pratique, with no c after the a. The word derives from Latin practicus, via Old French practique, and has two main uses. As a feminine noun, la pratique denotes the act, habit, or application of doing something, or a profession or field of activity (as in la pratique de la médecine, the practice of medicine). It can also mean customary use or routine. As an adjective, pratique describes something convenient, useful, or hands-on (for example, une solution pratique, des méthodes pratiques).

In philosophy and social theory, the related concept praxis (from Greek praxis) denotes practical action that is informed by theory, particularly in discussions of how ideas translate into real-world practice. French scholarship may reference praxis in this sense, but it is not typically anglicized as practique.

If the spelling practique appears in a text, it is advisable to determine whether it is a typographical error or a proper noun designated by a company, project, or fictional setting. In other languages, similar terms exist with diacritics—Spanish práctica, Catalan pràctica, Portuguese prática—none of which use the spelling practique.
