Poszukujące is a Polish term formed as the present active participle from the verb poszukiwać, meaning to search or to seek. In standard spelling it appears as poszukujące; without diacritics it can appear as poszukujace or poszukujace depending on encoding. The word denotes ongoing seeking and can function as an adjective or, when substantivized, as a noun phrase meaning “the seekers.”

Grammatical use. As an adjective, poszukujące describes nouns and agrees with gender and number (for example, masculine, feminine, neuter, and plural forms exist). In everyday language it is common to find constructions such as czlowiek poszukujacy/poszukujaca pracy (a person seeking work), osoby poszukujace pracy (people seeking work), or organizacje poszukujace partnerów (organizations seeking partners). It is also used to describe things that are seeking something, for instance poszukujace rozwiązania (those seeking solutions).
