porednikom

Porednikom is the instrumental singular form of the noun porednik, a grammatical term used in some South Slavic language grammars to denote a coordinating conjunction, or the broader class of coordinating words that link elements of equal syntactic status. A coordinating conjunction, or porednik, connects words, phrases, or clauses that could stand alone, forming coordinate structures. Typical coordinating conjunctions express addition (and), choice (or), contrast (but), or cause and result (for). In many linguistic traditions, coordinating conjunctions are grouped under the category of porednik and are distinguished from subordinating conjunctions, which introduce dependent clauses.
