Plantari is a term found in anatomy and medical Latin that refers to structures related to the plantar aspect, or sole, of the foot. In English, the adjective plantar is commonly used for these relations, while plantaris or plantari appears in older or Latinized clinical terms. The form derives from planta, the sole of the foot, with the -aris suffix forming adjectival terms.

In clinical anatomy, plantari elements include the plantar fascia (also called the plantar aponeurosis), a thick band of connective tissue that extends from the calcaneus to the toes and helps maintain the arch; plantar nerves, including branches of the tibial nerve that supply sensation and function to the sole; and the intrinsic plantar muscles, the small muscles entirely contained within the sole that control toe movements and foot stabilization. The term is often encountered in phrases such as nervi plantares or fascia plantaris.

The concept is contrasted with terms for other surfaces, such as dorsal (top of the foot) or palmar (palm). The plural form plantari is not commonly used in modern standard English, where plantares or the singular plantaris are typically employed in Latin-derived phrases. Etymologically, plantari comes from Latin planta, meaning the sole of the foot, with adjectival endings such as -aris. Usage today is mainly within medical Latin and compound terms rather than as a standalone everyday term.
