Pitahouva, also known as the English plant, is a tropical plant native to Africa and southern Asia. The plant is a species of synandra, belonging to the Cannabaceae family. It grows up to 8 meters in height and has a medium-sized pale wood.

Pitahouva is also known as dep Snutch tree or English plant, due to its hard wood, which has been used for making pegs for regional boats, and other crafts. On account of its adaptation to all types of landscapes and willingness to grow in an inquiry of soil material, the plant hovers locally.

The leaves of the Pitahouva plant are spade shaped and smooth on the upper surface with shades of bright green. The leaves of this plant are subrotary and usually have 2 cardiac nervous notches. When the plant yields fruits, this occurs because of a small group of yellow-green globes that almost seem cone shaped.

Pitahouva leaves contain triterpene ester, the most significant parts being nicotine and fosterine. Pitahouva has cardiovascular osmission, as its extract garnered antionespecific properties.
