Perspektiivitõstmine, often translated as perspective lifting or perspective enhancement, is a concept primarily associated with art and design, referring to techniques used to alter or exaggerate the perceived depth and dimensionality of a two-dimensional image. It aims to create a stronger sense of space and volume than traditional linear perspective might achieve.

This technique can involve several methods. One common approach is to deliberately distort or warp perspective lines, making them converge at more extreme angles or diverge in ways that are not strictly geometrically accurate. This can lead to a more dynamic and visually engaging scene. Another method involves manipulating the scale of objects within the composition. Objects that are meant to be perceived as further away might be rendered larger than they would be in natural perspective, or foreground objects might be disproportionately small, forcing the viewer's eye to interpret the depth in a non-conventional manner.

The use of intensified color saturation or contrast in certain areas can also contribute to perspektiivitõstmine. Bright, vibrant colors or high-contrast elements tend to advance visually, while muted tones or lower contrast can recede.
