Perineaalinen is an adjective used in Finnish medical and anatomical language to denote relation to the perineum, the region between the urogenital openings and the anus. The term is formed from the root perineal with the Finnish suffix -aalinen, and its illative form is perineaaliseen, used to express movement toward or location within the perineal region (for example, perineaaliseen alueeseen).
