Pengentals are the currency and unit of account used on the archipelago state of Veloria. The basic unit is the pengental; 1 pengental is subdivided into 100 centipengs. They exist in physical form as coins and in digital form through electronic wallets and bank accounts.

Critics point to reliance on commodity basket exposure and digital access gaps between urban and rural areas. Counterfeiting, cross-border exchange with neighboring economies, and transition risk from cash to digital wallets are ongoing concerns.
