Partoks are a hypothetical unit of information used in speculative physics and thought experiments to model discrete information exchange. A partok is defined as the smallest indivisible element that can participate in an interaction within an information-theoretic network. In many formulations, a partok carries a basic information content and has a state that can be definite or represented as a superposition in the model.

Theoretical treatments describe partoks in various ways. Some use a two-level system analogous to a qubit to capture probabilistic states; others treat partoks as classical tokens with probabilistic attributes.
