parlamentært

Parlamentært is an adjective used in several Scandinavian languages to describe things related to parliament or to a parliamentary system of government. In political science, a parliamentary system is a form of government in which the executive branch is drawn from the legislature and depends on its confidence to govern. The head of government is typically a prime minister or equivalent, while the head of state often serves a largely ceremonial role, such as a monarch or a largely non-political president.

Key features of a parliamentary system include cabinet collective responsibility, meaning ministers must support the government

Parliamentary systems are common in many parts of Europe and the Commonwealth, including the United Kingdom,
