However, creating a new thread for every single request can have significant performance implications, especially under heavy load. Threads consume system resources, including memory, and the overhead associated with creating, managing, and destroying threads can become substantial. If a server receives a large number of concurrent requests, it might exhaust available system resources, leading to slow performance or even server instability. This limitation has led to the development of alternative server architectures, such as thread pools, event-driven models, or asynchronous programming, which aim to handle a greater number of concurrent requests more efficiently by reusing threads or avoiding dedicated threads altogether for each request.
