Paloviina is a Finnish term for illegally produced distilled spirits, typically home-made or bootleg liquor that is unlicensed and sold outside regulated channels. The name literally conveys a sense of illicit, potent alcohol and is closely associated with the Finnish tradition of improvised distilling.

Historically, paloviina gained prominence during periods of alcohol scarcity and regulation, notably in the early 20th century and during the prohibition-era in Finland (roughly 1919–1932).
