Pakotetunta is a remote island located in the South Solomons group, within the Solomon Islands archipelago. The island is part of the Temotu province, which is the most eastern province in the Solomon Islands. Pakotetunta is a relatively small island, characterized by a coral reef and a sandy shore.

Geographically, the island is situated approximately 30 kilometers northeast of the island of Reef Islands.
