Paineilmasekoi, also known by its scientific name Melolontha melolontha, is a species of scarab beetle commonly found in Europe. It is a well-known agricultural pest, particularly in its larval stage. The life cycle of the pine weevil begins when an adult female lays eggs in the soil, usually in grassy areas. The eggs hatch into grubs, which are C-shaped and white with brown heads.
