otkazilganidan

Otkazilganidan is a form in Uzbek grammar that combines the past passive participle otkazilgan, derived from the verb otkazmoq (“to postpone” or “to transfer”), with the suffix -idan, a genitive/ablative postposition. The result is a participial construction used to link clauses and to indicate temporal relation, especially the moment after something has been postponed or moved.

Morphologically, otkazmoq -> otkazilgan (past passive participle) -> otkazilganidan when the suffix -idan attaches to the participle. The whole form functions as a modifier within a larger sentence and often appears in adverbial clauses of time when followed by keyin (after). In Uzbek, such formations are common for creating concise, subordinate clauses without repeating the main verb.

Usage and function: otkazilganidan is primarily used to express temporal sequence relative to postponement. It can introduce clauses that describe events occurring after a postponement, or to frame statements in which the postponement is the reference point. It is not usually used alone; it typically appears as otkazilganidan keyin or otkazilganidan so'ng to mark “after it has been postponed.”

- Tadbir otkazilganidan keyin bo’lib o’tdi. The event took place after it had been postponed.

- Yig’ilish otkazilganidan so’ng boshlash mumkin. It is possible to begin after the meeting has been postponed.
