oroxylins

Oroxylins are a group of naturally occurring organic compounds belonging to the flavonoid family. They are primarily found in plants, particularly in the bark of trees belonging to the Oroxylum genus, such as Oroxylum indicum. These compounds are known for their diverse biological activities.

Chemically, oroxylins are characterized by a specific flavonoid structure, typically a flavone or isoflavone skeleton with certain hydroxylations and methoxylations.
