An Ophanim is a class of celestial beings found in some interpretations of Abrahamic religions, particularly within Ezekiel's vision in the Old Testament. They are often described as wheels within wheels, covered in eyes, and are associated with the throne of God. The term "ophanim" itself is Hebrew and translates to "circulators" or "wheels."

The most detailed description of ophanim comes from the first chapter of the Book of Ezekiel, where the prophet witnesses a vision of the divine chariot. Alongside the cherubim, the ophanim are depicted as integral components of this celestial vehicle, moving in tandem with them. Their appearance is described as being made of a material resembling beryl, and their defining characteristic is their complex, multi-directional movement.

Theological interpretations of the ophanim vary widely. Some see them as representing God's omnipresence, His constant movement and watchfulness. Others view them as symbolizing divine wisdom or the cyclical nature of time and creation.
