Omistusosuuteen is a Finnish term referring to a defined portion of ownership in an asset, such as real estate or a business. It denotes the holder’s proportional rights and obligations in relation to the whole asset, regardless of whether the asset is held by individuals or entities.

In real estate and other jointly owned property, omistusosuus expresses how much of the asset each owner owns. Each share typically entitles the owner to a corresponding use-right, a share of any proceeds from sale, and a proportionate obligation to cover maintenance costs, taxes, and encumbrances.
