An oljetønde, or oil drum, is a cylindrical container used for storing and transporting oil, lubricants, fuels and related liquids. Most are made of steel or high-density polyethylene (HDPE). Typical capacities include 200 liters (about 55 US gallons), while smaller drums of 30 or 60 liters are also common.
