Objekto is the Esperanto word for "object" and is used across disciplines to denote a thing, entity, or target. Although primarily a term in Esperanto, it also appears in discussions in other languages as a cognate of English "object" and of the Latin "objectum."

In philosophy, objekto refers to the thing that is known or referred to by a subject; it is contrasted with the subject (subjekto).
