Nucleics is a term sometimes used to refer to the study of nucleic acids and their properties, organization, and applications. Technologies associated with nucleics include polymerase chain reaction (PCR), sequencing, and various genome-editing approaches such as CRISPR-Cas systems. These tools enable applications in medicine, forensics, agriculture, and basic research, including diagnostics, synthetic biology, and personalized genomics. Ethical considerations, data interpretation, and delivery challenges remain ongoing aspects of advancing nucleics.
