Notée is a French term formed as the feminine singular past participle of noter, or as the feminine singular form of the adjective meaning “noted” or “recorded.” It appears in several grammatical contexts to indicate that something has been written down, recorded, or given a note or evaluation.

In practice, notée is most often seen as a conjugated form used with auxiliary verbs in compound tenses. With the auxiliary avoir, the participle agrees in gender and number with a preceding direct object.
