Nopeutua is a constructed language (conlang) developed as an artistic and linguistic project by an independent conlanger. The name is a constructed word drawing on the idea that language can express nuance beyond everyday speech.

Origins and design goals: Nopeutua emerged in online conlang communities in the 2010s. It aims for a modest phoneme inventory, clear grammar, and features such as evidential mood and postpositional marking to explore how speakers encode information source and perspective.

Phonology and script: The language has a small inventory, including consonants p, t, k, m, n, s, l, r and vowels a, e, i, o, u. Stress is typically on the penultimate syllable. Orthography uses a Latin-based alphabet with minimal diacritic marks.

Grammar: Nopeutua is largely analytic with a tendency toward light agglutination in its verb system. Basic word order is subject–verb–object (SVO). Noun phrases rely on postpositions rather than case endings, and a set of evidential markers expresses speaker certainty or information source. Pronouns distinguish inclusive and exclusive we.

Status and usage: Nopeutua exists mainly in online resources, grammar guides, and user-generated texts. It is not a community-native language and is used primarily for experimentation, language learning, and creative writing within conlang circles.
