Nnunün

Nnunün is an indigenous language spoken by the Lhao vowel group of people, who inhabit the highlands of northwestern China. It belongs to the Lolo-Burmese branch of the Sino-Tibetan language family. As a result, nnunün has distinctive phonological features, such as a tone system with five distinct variations.

Geographically, the Lhao people have traditionally resided in the sparsely populated regions of Qinghai Province.
