Nivelparit is a term used in civil and agricultural engineering to describe a method and set of tools for determining and controlling the vertical level and cross-sectional profile of drainage ditches, or parits, used in irrigation and stormwater management. The aim is to ensure uniform flow, efficient drainage, and reduced erosion by maintaining consistent trench depth and gradient along a network of channels.
