They are known to congregate in herds, drifting across the landscape in search of sustenance, which primarily consists of airborne flora and smaller airborne organisms.

Despite their imposing size and the presence of a powerful charge attack, netch are generally not aggressive towards sentient beings unless provoked or defending their young. Their primary defense mechanism, besides their charge, is their ability to emit a potent electric shock. This shock is often a surprise to unprepared adventurers and can be debilitating. Netch are also known to have a strong territorial instinct. Their bodies are composed of a viscous substance that can be harvested for alchemical purposes, and their hides are sometimes used in crafting durable armor. Different subspecies of netch exist, with variations in size, color, and the intensity of their electrical discharge, adapted to the specific environments they inhabit.
