Nervöverföringar, also known as synaptic transmission, are the fundamental processes by which neurons communicate with each other and with other target cells. Beyond chemical transmission, electrical synapses also exist, where ions flow directly between adjacent neurons through gap junctions. This allows for rapid, synchronized communication.
