neonindicatoren
Neonindicatoren, also known as neon indicators or neon lamps used as indicators, are simple gas-discharge devices that glow when a sufficient voltage is applied. They typically consist of a small glass envelope filled with a neon gas mixture at low pressure and two electrodes. When the voltage across the electrodes exceeds the ignition voltage of the neon gas, the gas ionizes and emits a characteristic reddish-orange light.
These indicators have been widely used for decades in electronic equipment as power-on or status indicators
While more modern LED indicators offer a wider range of colors and lower operating voltages, neon indicators
