Natriumfeldspa is a group of tectosilicate minerals within the feldspar group. It is characterized by the presence of sodium (Na) in its chemical formula, typically as a component of the solid solution series between albite (NaAlSi3O8) and anorthite (CaAl2Si2O8), known as plagioclase feldspar. Pure albite represents the sodium-rich end-member of this series. Other common sodium-bearing feldspars include anorthoclase and sanidine, which are high-temperature alkali feldspars with a higher sodium content than orthoclase or microcline.

These minerals are abundant in igneous rocks, particularly in felsic rocks such as granite, rhyolite, and diorite. They are also found in metamorphic rocks and, to a lesser extent, in sedimentary rocks. Natriumfeldspa plays a significant role in the Earth's crust, contributing to the formation and composition of many rock types.
