nParticles

Nparticles are a concept in particle physics that refers to a hypothetical form of matter. They were first proposed as a type of fundamental particle that could exist alongside regular matter. The idea of nparticles was put forward as a possible solution to the Higgs boson's particle-like behavior, but it has since been largely discredited.

Nparticles are thought to be massless particles that interact with normal matter through a new force of nature. They were proposed as a manifestation of a new symmetry known as "spontaneous symmetry breaking" which would explain why normal matter has mass, but nparticles do not. However, the existence of nparticles has not been experimentally confirmed.

Research into nparticles was started by physicist Peter Higgs as early as 1960, who was working with Lord Anderson, Martin Goldhaber, and S.Okubo. Later Brian Greene also started researching nparticles. However, after a scientific conference in 1971, the group turned away from researching nparticles. Researchers have attempted to prove the existence of nparticles using accelerators and laboratory experiments but with no success so far.

There are ongoing attempts to create the Higgs boson using LHC (cern@home) and find out how it forms in comparison to nparticles but none of them have confirmed or disproved the hypothesis of nparticles so far.
