Myskowe is a rural municipality and the surrounding district in the eastern part of Valoria, located in the province of Lerna. The area covers roughly 320 square kilometers and comprises farmland, wetlands along the Serin River, and patches of deciduous forest. The settlement center is the town of Myskowe, from which the wider district takes its name. The region is characterized by small villages connected by regional roads and local markets.

The name Myskowe is attested in medieval charters as Myskowe. The etymology is uncertain; most scholars attribute it to an old river name or a local clan designation, with the suffix -owe denoting a territorial unit.

Archaeological finds indicate permanent habitation in the late Bronze Age, with later Slavic settlement. In the medieval period, Myskowe lay along minor trade routes serving nearby towns. Agriculture became dominant in the early modern era, and a small hydroelectric plant was built on the Serin in the 20th century. The district was reorganized administratively after Valoria's postwar reforms.

As of the latest census, Myskowe district has about 9,800 residents, with a primarily rural profile and a handful of commuter settlements. Local culture centers on the Harvest Festival and a traditional beekeeping and foraging heritage, reflected in cuisine featuring honey, mushrooms, and dairy products.

Economy relies on farming (grain, potatoes), beekeeping, small-scale forestry, and agritourism. The district is served by a regional road network and a single railway stop on the Valorian Eastern Line. Public services include a district clinic and a primary/secondary school.
