A myriagon, also known as a 10,000-gon, is a polygon with ten thousand sides and ten thousand vertices. It is a member of the class of regular polygons, which are shapes with equal sides and equal angles. While myriagons are theoretically possible, they are impractical to draw or construct precisely due to their enormous number of sides.

The concept of a myriagon extends the familiar polygons like triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, and hexagons, which have three, four, five, and six sides, respectively. As the number of sides increases, the polygon approaches the shape of a circle. A myriagon, with its vast number of sides, would appear almost indistinguishable from a perfect circle to the naked eye. This is because the curvature of each side becomes negligible compared to the overall shape.

They serve as an example of how polygons with an increasing number of sides converge toward a circular form. The interior angle of a regular myriagon can be calculated using the formula for the interior angle of a regular *n*-sided polygon: ((*n* − 2) × 180°) / *n*. For a myriagon, this results in an interior angle of approximately 179.968°, meaning each angle is nearly 180°, further reinforcing the circular appearance.

Myriagons are rarely encountered in everyday contexts but are occasionally referenced in mathematical discussions, puzzles, or artistic representations to illustrate concepts related to limits and approximation in geometry.
