Musculaire is an adjective in French that means relating to muscles and is used to describe aspects of the muscular system, muscle tissue, or muscular strength. In medical and anatomical contexts, the term refers to anything pertaining to the muscles, especially skeletal muscles, which are responsible for voluntary movement and posture.

The muscular system, or musculature, consists of skeletal muscles, their connective tissue, tendons, and nerves. Skeletal muscles are organized into fascicles and muscle fibers; they contract in response to motor nerve impulses and generate movement, stabilize joints, and produce heat through thermogenesis.

In French usage, muscles are referred to as les muscles, and muscular is used in phrases such as force musculaire and système musculaire.
